Dear Parents/Guardians,
RE: BEGINNING OF TERM I CIRCULAR – 2026
Warm greetings from the Buddo Secondary School and congratulations upon your child’s successful
transition from “O” to “A” level secondary education.
Today marks a very important milestone as your child joins advanced level. We thank you for
entrusting us with the responsibility of nurturing and guiding them through this new academic journey.
Allow me draw your attention to the key events we have this term.
1.0. TERM I PROGRAMME 2026.

3. Orientation of S.1 & S.5 Parents Saturday 21st March, 2026
4. Academic Visitation Day Monday 6th April, 2026
5. Easter Holiday Friday 3rd – Monday 6th April, 2026
6. Sports Day Saturday 18th April, 2026
7. End of Term I, 2026 Thursday 30th April, 2026
N.B: Term 2 is expected to start on Sunday 24/May/2026, and close on Thursday 20th/Aug. /2026.
Term 3 is expected to start on Sunday 13th/Sept./2026, and close on Thursday 3rd/Dec./2026.
2.0. MEDICAL FEE.
All students must pay shs. 20,000/= to the bursar’s office to enable general medical checkup.
3.0. HOUSE FEE.
All students are required to pay 10,000/= on arrival.
4.0. S.5 PARENTS’ ORIENTATION.
An orientation program has been organized on Saturday 21st March, 2026 starting at 9:00am to help
students and parents/guardians familiarize themselves with the school policies, procedures and
facilities.
5.0. POCKET MONEY.
Pocket money (a minimum of 50,000/=) can be kept with the secretary who will be giving it out
regularly to the students. The official number for pocket money only is 0776692373 (Kawala Grace).
Parents are advised to use their own personal phones to send mobile money for easy follow up as
Mobile Money agents do not usually include the students’ name.
6.0. DISCIPLINE.
The school upholds high standards of discipline, academic excellence, and moral values. We
encourage parents to work hand in hand with the school to ensure that students maintain good behavior
and focus on their studies.
7.0. RAMADHAN.
Muslim students are required to pay 100,000/= to facilitate them in this period. Money should be paid
to the bursar’s office on arrival.
8.0. UNIFORMS.
All students are expected to wear their school uniform and adhere to the school dress code.
N.B. Home-made uniforms are strictly not allowed in school and will be confiscated.
